February Quilt

Our Groundhog Predictions

Valentine's Day

This is an innovation of Dr. Jean's "I Wish I Had a Little Red Box."  The picture of the child is laminated and not attached in any way, so the children can take her out and "kiss" her.  It's one of their favorite class books!

We turned grocery bags into monkeys to hold all of our Valentine goodies.

This is the Valentine card we made.  The children are covered rose pedals....so sweet.

Valentine card holder

After opening each valentine, the children put them in a scrap book.  They enjoy flipping through their books and looking at their valentines.

This is another valentine card.

We put them in envelopes and walk to the corner mailbox to mail them.

Sorting math activity:

In a dish.

I will sort them just like this!
